On May 23, Rachel Galvin was interviewed by Evan Golden on his podcast “Talk Golden to Me” about the acting industry, her acting book, “Basics of the Biz,” film, TV, and other topics like the tragedy at Marjory Stoneman Douglas, and more.
Rachel Galvin is happy to announce she has been cast in the TV pilot “Aging in Place” written by Karen Donahue and to be directed by Alyn Darnay. It is slated to begin filming in July. Galvin will play the role of Lulu. This is not the first time she has worked with Donahue or Darnay and she also has worked with many of the cast members in the past.
Rachel joined the gang at First Edge Studios in Wellington and filmed a skit for their new TV pilot, a SNL-type skit comedy show, “Short Takes on Life. Playing an Undercover Cop who gets the shaft in the skit “What Makes a Cop Pop,” her character’s development took her to new heights.
“This is the most over-the-top I have ever played,” she said, adding, “It was a lot of fun really letting loose with this character and the other actors were great to work with.”
“Short Takes on Life” has wrapped and producer/ writer Steve Daron is
currently seeking a distributor in Los Angeles.
