Rachel Galvin cast in “Illume the Movie”

Rachel Galvin is happy to be cast as the Taekwondo instructor in “Illume the Movie,” a feature film about anti-bullying directed by Danny Debs. Originally Debs created a short film which he submitted to ABC and Disney, but has decided to make it into a larger project, which he plans to send off to film festivals.

Galvin is excited to use her skills in Taekwondo in a positive way. Galvin was trained at Sang’s Academy and has received her yellow belt in both Taekwondo and Muay Thai. Master Sang is an action star himself and has appeared in films like “Rush Hour 2” and is about to be in the new “Hercules” film.

“Illume the Movie” is slated to start filming in South Florida in September 2013.

Rachel Galvin interviews director Craig Zisk RE: “The English Teacher”

I could not be more excited about this interview! This successful director has directed some of my fav. shows — “Smash,” “Nip/Tuck,”“Alias,” & others. His feature film “The English Teacher” is a multi-layered lighthearted drama with Julianne Moore, Greg Kinnear, Nathan Lane & Michael Angarano. I loved the movie. We discussed the movie and his new TV show “Full Circle,” currently in production and more. He gave some great advice for directors. Wonderful interview! It’s great to have two great interviews two days in a row! http://www.blogtalkradio.com/indiestreak/2013/05/27/director-craig-zisk-the-english-teacher
